University College Dublin (UCD) is offering a three-day Transition Year experience designed for students curious about nursing and midwifery. The event will take place at the Belfield campus from 14-16 April, 2026.

This engaging programme offers a unique opportunity to explore life as a healthcare student through interactive workshops, hands-on skills sessions, and inspiring talks from lecturers and current students. Participants will gain insights into general, children’s, mental health nursing, and midwifery, while also exploring study pathways, Erasmus opportunities, and student life at UCD.

Places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a maximum of 40 places available due to room capacity limits for certain aspects of the programme. A waiting list will be maintained in case of cancellations. To be added to the waitlist, interested applicants should email nursingtyprogramme@ucd.ie
