The Irish Osteoporosis Society (IOS) was founded by Professor Moira O’Brien in 1996 as a patient support organisation for those suffering from Osteoporosis, their families and to provide information to health professionals on all aspect of this disease. We help people across Ireland look after their bones and appreciate the importance of bone health for everybody. For those who do develop osteoporosis, we are here to help them live well.
