IAANMP: Welcome from Melissa and the team

Welcome to this edition of the Irish Association of Advanced Nurse and Midwife Practitioners (IAANMP) Advanced Practice Supplement. It is a pleasure to share the latest updates, achievements, and contributions from ANMPs across Ireland, and to celebrate the continuing impact our members have on patient care, service development, and professional excellence.

This edition reflects the strength, commitment, and innovation within our Association, from clinical leadership and service improvement to research, education, and collaboration. It also highlights the important role IAANMP continues to play in supporting and advancing advanced practice throughout the Irish healthcare system.

Behind the scenes, IAANMP continues to work actively with key stakeholders across healthcare, education, policy, and professional bodies to ensure that the voice of advanced practice is represented at both national and strategic levels. Through ongoing collaboration, advocacy, and engagement, the Association remains committed to strengthening and shaping the future of advanced nursing and midwifery practice in Ireland.
