We did it! IAANMP wins clinical team of the year award at the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards 2026

The IAANMP has proudly won the Clinical Team of the Year Award (Public – Small Organisation) at the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards 2026, held at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, on Friday 22 May 2026. This prestigious national award recognises the IAANMP’s exceptional contribution to clinical excellence, innovation, leadership, and the transformative impact advanced practice continues to have on healthcare delivery across Ireland.

Representing 600 ANMPs nationwide, the IAANMP is a powerful national clinical team driving change across primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare services. Our members are highly skilled autonomous clinicians delivering expert assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, and follow-up care, collectively providing tens of thousands of patient consultations annually.

The award acknowledges the measurable impact advanced practitioners are making every day for patients and healthcare services throughout Ireland. IAANMP members are improving access to timely expert-led care, reducing waiting times, preventing avoidable hospital admissions, enhancing continuity of care, and strengthening patient outcomes across multiple specialties.

Through strategic collaboration with the Department of Health, the HSE, The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, academic institutions, and national healthcare stakeholders, the IAANMP has played a leading role in expanding and advancing ANP and AMP services as a solution to growing healthcare demands. This work has strengthened workforce development, supported service efficiency, and advanced patient-centred innovation at a national level.

Over the past 22 years, the IAANMP has demonstrated resilience, vision, leadership, and a strong collective identity. By bringing together a diverse and highly skilled advanced practice workforce, the Association has played a significant role in shaping meaningful healthcare reform, advancing professional practice, and strengthening the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across Ireland.

Winning Clinical Team of the Year marks a significant milestone for advanced practice in Ireland and recognises the professionalism, expertise, compassion, and dedication of IAANMP ANPs and AMPs nationwide. It reflects the growing influence and value of advanced practice within the Irish healthcare system and highlights the central role advanced practitioners play in delivering high-quality, accessible care.

This award celebrates not only the achievements of the Association, but the extraordinary commitment of every advanced practitioner working tirelessly to improve patient outcomes and transform healthcare services across Ireland.
