In memory of ANP Trisha McKeown
The IAANMP is proud to announce the introduction of a new IAANMP Bursary Award in 2026, established in memory of Advanced Nurse Practitioner Trisha McKeown.
This annual bursary to the value of €1,000 has been created to honour Trisha’s enduring contribution to advanced nursing practice and her commitment to clinical excellence, professional development, and patient-centred care. Trisha was a highly respected colleague whose passion for advanced practice, education, and advocacy left a lasting impact on both patients and peers.
The Trisha McKeown Bursary Award will support an ANP or AMP to pursue networking, educational, research, or professional development activities that align with the core values of advanced practice and the mission of the IAANMP. Through this award, the Association seeks to continue Trisha’s legacy by investing in the ongoing growth, leadership, and excellence of the advanced practice community.
The Association is honoured to commemorate Trisha’s life and professional legacy through this meaningful initiative, ensuring that her significant contribution to advanced practice continues to inspire and empower future generations.
