The IAANMP is proud to highlight the strong representation of Irish advanced practice nursing at the ICN NP/APN Network Conference 2026, taking place in September 2026 in Nashville, US. This internationally respected conference is a key global forum for advancing NP/APN leadership, research excellence and innovative models of practice.
Caroline Fraser, IAANMP Vice-Chair, RANP ED, will present ‘Strengthening advanced practice nursing leadership: The role of professional representation and advocacy’. This abstract positions advanced practice leadership as a critical driver of professional influence, policy engagement, and role sustainability, and reflects the strategic contribution of Irish advanced practitioners within the international NP/APN community.
Felicity Mc Fadden, RANP in Respiratory Integrated Care, will deliver an oral podium presentation entitled ‘Evaluation of a nurse practitioner-led sleep clinic within a community setting in Ireland’. Her work demonstrates the measurable impact of nurse practitioner-led integrated models of care in enhancing access, service efficiency, and patient outcomes within respiratory services.
These presentations showcase the leadership, innovation, and international contribution of advanced nursing practice in Ireland, with IAANMP members represented strongly on the global stage.
The winner of the IAANMP bursary to attend the ICN NP/APN Network Conference in Nashville, US, will be announced in due course. All eligible applications will be reviewed and a raffle will be conducted to select the successful applicant from those who meet the application criteria. This opportunity reflects the Association’s commitment to promoting advanced practice leadership, scholarship, and international engagement, while ensuring a fair and transparent selection process.
