An afternoon to forget for the visitors

    15 Nov 2018

Vincent’s were quickly given the opportunity to exert revenge on a Kilnamanagh outfit who had come back from two goals down to win 4-2 at Benildus the previous week but the contest never truly caught fire — in cold, windy conditions, the home side were too strong and never looked in danger of dropping points, easing into a two-goal lead in a one-sided game. It was an afternoon to forget for the visitors, as Kilnamanagh continued to soar towards the upper reaches of the league table.

St Vincent’s slump to disappointing home defeat at the hands of Kilnamanagh in bizarre circumstances

    05 Nov 2018

A first half brace from Rory Durand had put the home side in the ascendency, but the game changed after a lengthy stoppage in the second period for a floodlight delay. Kilnamanagh capitalised on a series of errors to claim all three points as Vincent’s suffered defeat on home soil for the third time in this campaign.

Brexit may jeopardise patient access to medical devices, according to Medtech

    05 Nov 2018

The Irish Medtech Association, the Ibec group that represents the medtech sector, warned ahead of the recent Global Access 2018 conference in Galway that the EU is running out of time to make sure that the necessary infrastructure is in place to ensure that the care continuum for patients is preserved under the new EU Medical Devices and Invitro Diagnostics Regulations.

    Ruthless Dundrum punish Vincent’s

    25 Oct 2018

St Vincent’s slumped to a third successive league defeat at the hands of a Dundrum side who took their chances on a crisp Saturday afternoon at Meadowbrook Park. It was the home outfit’s first victory of a league season curtailed to just two games to date and owed much to a display of clinical finishing. Vincent’s were well in the game — more so than the 3-0 scoreline suggests — but have slipped into the habit of shipping goals in tight games recently.

Vincent’s bow out of cup to classy TEK United

    04 Oct 2018

St Vincent’s imploded in the second half against TEK United to suffer a heavy cup exit. Kieran Keane got a rare goal in a competitive opening period, but the hosts dominated after the break, showing quality to ruthlessly punish mistakes and run out comfortable winners. A disappointing result, but going away to a side competing a couple of divisions ahead was always going to be a challenge.
