The Irish football team reached the last eight of the World Medical Football Championship, which was held in Cancun, Mexico, recently. The Irish team was defeated 3-1 by
Argentina in the quarter final, with ophthalmology trainee Dr David Gildea (pictured) converting a penalty for the boys in green.
