Dr Connor McManus, Musgrave Park Hospital Belfast, received the Bernard Connor Medal for winning first prize in the Clinical Case Oral Presentation category, while the second prize went to Dr Evanne O’Halloran, Children’s Health Ireland. There were 62 clinical case entries for the meeting and the best six were presented live.
There were two sponsored sessions during the meeting including an update on the EVEREST initiative, which aims to support clinicians optimise remission rates in their rheumatoid arthritis patients, and the latest experience in biologic therapies in AxSpa – ‘A French perspective’.
There were also dedicated SpR training and education sessions with input from the local and international speakers.
