Join us for an exciting programme of theoretical and hands-on teaching
This is ideal for those wanting to develop, maintain or upgrade their skills across the range of community based procedures. Highlights include:

4th annual masterclass – Joint Injections. Prof David Kane, Mr Garry O Toole and Mr Jonathan Lunn will discuss and demonstrate the assessment and management of common musculoskeletal disorders and commonly used joint and periarticular injection techniques.
Melanoma diagnosis. An update on unusual presentations of melanoma and clinical recognition.
Basic Surface Surgery. A series of theoretical and workshop sessions to help you get started in your community surgical work. Includes expert teaching on cryosurgical technique and patient selection.
Advanced Sessions. This year the focus will be on the surgical and cryosurgical management of non melanoma skin cancer. Dr Fuan Chan will teach on surgical procedures around the eye.
Cosmetic procedures. Dr Roisin Fitzgerald on cosmetic techniques in general practice.
Keynote panel discussion. Prof Sean Carrol, Dr David Buckley, Dr Rupert Barry and Dr Mukesh Lalloo will discuss challenging cases and facial surgery.
Ross Ardill Prize. This year, thanks to the sponsorship of A Menarini Ireland, this award will again be presented to the best oral and poster presentations of case reports, audit or research work relating to procedural practice.

Hands-on Workshops. This year, participants can choose from a variety of skills sessions including: Field treatment of AK, basic surgical ellipse excision, modified ellipse excision, difficult foreign body and subdermal implant removal and cryosurgery of NMSC.
