These photographs of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin come from two albums held in the RCPI’s Heritage Centre. They were donated to the collection by Mr Matthew and Fr John Russell, sons of Dr Matthew John Russell (1874-1956), who appears in some of the photographs. Special thanks to Ms Helen Madden, Mater Archivist, who assisted with the identification of the photographs.
