The results of the 2018 National Patient Experience Survey were launched on Monday November 26 by Minister for Health Simon Harris in St James’s Hospital, Dublin. The National Patient Experience Survey, the largest survey of its kind in Ireland, ran for the second time in May of this year. The survey asked patients about their experiences of hospital care in order to find out what is working well in the health service, and what needs to be improved. Over 13,000 people participated in this year’s survey.
